Eduardo Paulo Named Director of User Experience.
John Ryan, a global provider of large-scale managed digital merchandising networks for retail banking organizations, today announced that Eduardo Paulo has joined the firm as Director of User Experience. Mr. Paulo will be based in New York City and will be responsible for interaction design, usability and overall user experience across the full portfolio of John Ryan products, including the Messaging Manager suite.
“The global retailing banking clients we serve demand solutions that make it easy for marketing and corporate IT departments to manage,” said Minson Chen, Executive Vice President, Products and Marketing. “Unfortunately most digital signage software in the market today is simply too complex and difficult to use. Ease of use and seamless integration with a retail marketing workflow are guiding principles of our product design. We are excited to have Eduardo execute our vision of developing industry leading user experiences.”
Mr. Paulo joins John Ryan International with fifteen years experience in creative and interactive development. His skills as a print/interactive designer, art director, photographer, motion designer and programmer have allowed him to deliver projects for companies such as Hewlett-Packard, General Motors, and Staples. Mr. Paulo is also an accomplished painter. Mr. Paulo holds a BFA from the Academy of Art University (San Francisco, 1991) and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute (San Francisco, 1994). He is an award recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation.
