Australasia¹s largest integrated AV IT and electronic systems industry event presents a new simulated feature for 2013
Integrate 2013, in association with InfoComm International and CEDIA, Australasia’s largest integrated AV IT and electronic systems industry event, today announced that it will present for the first time a real-life simulated feature on the show floor showcasing live and recorded demonstrations.
In today’s cluttered AV environment consumers are inundated with products, often in isolation, making it difficult for corporate leaders to understand the benefit of an integrated solution, said Mary Giugni, Exhibition Manager, Integrate 2013. Through the convergence of AV & IT, this dedicated simulation feature will help visitors understand how technology can work together in a real-life environment and be applied across different applications.
The new feature by Pro AV Solutions has been designed specifically for distance health and health simulation training, featuring live crosses and recordings to show the effectiveness of distance solutions by way of video conferencing. Through demonstrations for distance diagnosis, treatment support, student training and distance consultation, industry professionals will gain first-hand insights into how important technology is to sectors such as health and education where distance solutions are becoming more prevalent.
With the pressure to increase the quality of patient care and the desire to provide the latest services, while at the same time controlling costs, Australian healthcare providers can struggle to fulfil all of these demands. Using the power of video conferencing and simulation systems, our e-health stand will show visitors how healthcare institutions can effectively connect patients, specialists, clinicians and students, further extending their reach within our healthcare system², said Anthony Jeffcoat, NSW Managing Director, Pro AV Solutions.
Industry leading suppliers such as AMX, Sony, Kramer, Polycom and REACH will showcase the latest touch panels, controllers, resource management software and audio and video conferencing solutions, including the Sony Bravia display screen with Image Blur (IB) Reduction, AMX MXD-1000 touch panel featuring advanced technology and multi-touch capabilities and REACH product package providing a scalable, managed and distributed recording and live streaming solution.
Pete Swanson, National Business Development Manager, AMX commented, We are excited to be involved in Integrate’s new dedicated simulation feature for the healthcare sector. Healthcare is a critical environment in which the performance, reliability and simplicity delivered by AMX products are key to a successful outcome. Our solutions provide the control and automation hospitals need to reduce operating costs, ensure system availability and deliver high quality care.
