Advanced Interactive Media Solutions (AIMS), the GCC market leader in digital signage solutions, today announced that it will conduct an exclusive seminar on the topic “Customer engagement technology solutions” during its participation at the 16th Annual Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East, which will run from January 20 to 22, 2013 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Ahmed ElRidi, CEO of AIMS, will conduct the presentation that will highlight the lucrative growth potential of the global digital signage systems market, which is expected to reach a value of USD 13.8 billion by 2017, according to a report by Global Industry Analysts Inc.

AIMS further revealed that it is sponsoring iMap 2.0 way-finding kiosks at the event, displaying the floor map of the exhibition area and all seminar schedules. iMap 2, the latest version of the interactive way-finding and mapping system, serves as a user-friendly, interactive touch-screen platform to search specific locations at the exhibition, allowing visitors to optimise their marketing and networking activities.

Ahmed ElRidi said: “The global digital signage market continues to expand as more businesses are taking advantage of digital signage technology to optimise their growth potential and reach out to a much broader customer base. AIMS will discuss at the Annual Sign & Graphic Imaging Middle East the latest innovations and developments that are driving customer engagement in digital signage, which we believe will be one of the top-trending topics at the event. This will be an excellent opportunity for key industry players to better understand the dynamics and nuances behind the rapid growth of the global digital signage market. Moreover, AIMS is likewise pleased to support the event with the installation of the state-of-the-art iMap 2 way-finding system, which is our way of demonstrating the powerful capabilities of digital signage technology.”

Visitors can use the iMap 2.0 way-finding kiosks to search for exhibitors either by name of company, by category, country or booth number. The touch screen will display the route (path) to the chosen exhibitor booth along with the company name and booth number. The way-finding kiosks will be placed at the registration and entrance to the exhibition hall, as well as within the hall area.

AIMS integrates the power of SCALA content management solutions, internet, interactive displays, mobile applications and communication technologies to develop interactive digital signage solutions for the region. The company also uses advanced audience measurement solutions to maximise the ROI of each campaign and ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
