never.no announced that its Executive Producer Matt Welton will take part in a panel discussion at the 2012 Sports Video Group League Technology Summit. The session, titled “Second Screen Update: The Unified Experience,” will take place Dec. 10 from 3:30 to 4 p.m. at the New York Hilton and will address the latest advances in enhancing the second-screen sports experience.
The panel will focus on what it takes to create a perfectly synced second-screen sports experience and the limitations that sometimes get in the way. Welton brings to the panel never.no‘s perspective as the creator of the Social TV framework that has enabled second-screen interaction with the Tour de France, IIHF hockey matches, and more — along with his own perspective as an expert in interactive and traditional media.
Joining Welton on the panel are Mio Babic, iStream Planet CEO; Sam Blackman, Elemental Technologies founder and CEO; and Jason Kint, CBS Interactive senior VP and general manager. Sports Video Group Managing Editor Jason Dachman will moderate the discussion.
