JCDecaux’s e-motion screens at Euston took the prestigious award for ‘Best New Digital Site’ at last night’s LoveContent Awards in London. Digital 6-sheets won the award for ‘Best Digital Format.’ while ESPN took the award for ‘Best Social Media Integration’ campaign.
The Judges were impressed by the scale and the scope of the opportunities on the e-motion screens which have seen outstanding campaigns from LandRover, Renault and Sony Ericsson among many others. In a recent innovation, consumers were able to control the content on the screens using their mobile phones.
The judges chose Digital 6-Sheets as the ‘Best Digital Format’, in a tacit recognition of JCDecaux’s investment in the format across rail and malls. In March 2012 JCDecaux announced the 60% expansion of its rail digital 6-sheet estate with sites in Newcastle, York and London Marylebone, new locations at Manchester Piccadilly, Glasgow Central, Leeds and in key commuter locations including Guildford, Kingston and Tunbridge Wells.
ESPN won the award for ‘Best Social Media Integration’ for a campaign run with Posterscope that ran across JCDecaux’s Transvision screens. The campaign broke new ground by integrating real-time discussion from its football presenters into the creative.
