DigitalSignage.com, provider of digital signage solutions, announces the acquisition of domain name digitalsignagesoftware.com. The domain, which is an exact match for the highly sought-after online search term was recently acquired in a private domain name auction.
“We expect this small, but meaningful acquisition will be helpful in further expanding our online presence for the products and services we provide to small and enterprise customers alike,” said Nathan Nead, company president.
The most recent quarter saw a twenty-fold increase in company revenues, bolstered mostly by the acquisition of several key customers in the digital media space. The company has also seen an increase in awareness from small to medium businesses, but more importantly, an increase in the desire to purchase. “When the recession hit, product purchases dropped off substantially, we’re seeing that tick back up as time progresses. There are definitely signs of easing and we’re excited for the potential for growth in the future.”
The search term “digital signage software” is searched some 18,000 times each month and is a coveted search term for the digital sign industry. The domain will simply act as a landing page for future searches for software in digital signage.
“We expect to continue to see an increase the size and complexity of customers in both the United States and around the globe,” says Nead. “Fortunately the hype of the industry has not completely died and we’re on track to grow the business in a real way going forward.”
Since 2008, DigitalSignage.com has been providing digital signage solutions to industry-leading companies and educational institutions including The American Red Cross, Marriott Hotels, PHH Corporation and multiple universities and colleges across the United States. The company is located in Seattle, Washington.
