Daktronics Provides LED Displays for Rosny 2 Shopping Center in France

Rosny 2, a shopping center in Rosny sous Bois, France, recently purchased multiple LED video displays from Daktronics, Inc. (Nasdaq – DAKT) of Brookings, S.D., by way of Pekason, a Daktronics Solutions Partner. The robust system of displays was installed on the top of the building in February 2012 and works to show logos of the shops inside the mall to entice patrons to enter.

The installation includes two main HD video displays, roughly 10 meters long by 4.26 meters tall, one on each side of the rectangular structure on the roof of the Rosny building. The other three displays are located one above the main video display on each side of the structure measuring roughly 37.18 meters long by 0.3 meters tall, and one connecting those two displays on one end of the structure measuring roughly 17.37 meters long by 0.3 meters tall.

“It has been great building off our existing partnership with Daktronics,” said Julien Perie of Pekason. “As usual, it was a good experience with no surprises, and we are able to rely on Daktronics dependable follow-up and support structures that accompany their brand.”

“Rosny is very happy and satisfied with the results,” said Alain Castelbou, Daktronics International Commercial Sales. “They have noticed other LED displays in the area and are reassured with the superior quality difference of their recent purchase.”

Daktronics has been working with Pekason for many years and installations on large shopping centers and commercial retail outlets have played a significant role in the success of this partnership. Pekason provides display installation, content management and content creation services, as well as proactive maintenance through a number of Daktronics global service solutions.
