Barco, a world leader in visualization solutions, shows its OVL-708 video wall and several of its latest display products at the ‘China Content Broadcasting Network 2012’ exhibition in Beijing’s prestigious China International Exhibition Center from 21 – 23 March. The CCBN trade show – the largest broadcasting technology and equipment expo in the Asia-Pacific region – is one of the most influential trade shows in the broadcasting and TV industry. This year, Barco is showcasing its OVL-708 LED-lit projection system, the latest member in the successful OVL series of Barco video walls. Enhanced with a liquid cooling system, the OVL-708 lifts LED illumination to a new level of brightness. In addition, the system features Sense6, a unique auto-calibration technology that provides brightness and color stability over time and across the entire display. This means that manual adjustments and maintenance are no longer needed. End-users Shandong TV station and Hunan economic TV station, which have recently installed the OVL-708 LED-lit projection system in their television studios, have given very positive feedback.
Barco will also exhibit several new products designed for the rental and staging market. ImagePro-II is an advanced, high-performance all-in-one video scaler, scan converter and switcher. On the LED side, there is the C5, the newest member of the C Series, which is renowned for being light-weight, easy to install, silent and power efficient. In addition to these outstanding qualities, the C5’s powerful DX-based image processing offers outstanding image quality and ease of use.

In the context of the ‘rapid development of the culture industry’ during the Twelfth Five Year Plan, the broadcasting industry is facing greater development opportunities. Barco values the CCBN platform and hopes to cooperate with many more partners to make a great contribution to China broadcasting industry.”
