VBrick Demonstrates Integration of the Recently Announced Distributed Media Engine with LifeSize Video Center
VBrick Systems today announced its Gold Sponsorship of the LifeSize Americas Partner Conference 2011, and that it will be demonstrating its recently announced Distributed Media Engine (DME) at the event. The conference, which takes place May 11-12 in Austin, Texas, marks a high-profile opportunity for LifeSize partners to experience first-hand the integration of VBrick’s and LifeSize’s technologies. The combined solution extends the reach of a LifeSize video conference by streaming HD video to hundreds or thousands of additional viewers, across multiple sites on a variety of endpoints, including smartphones and media tablets. The same content can also be recorded and stored for on-demand playback. In addition, VBrick will be showcasing how this same IP video could be streamed to a Microsoft Lync® client or accessed on-demand from SharePoint®.
Introduced to the market this week at Streaming Media East, VBrick’s DME is the industry’s first comprehensive Enterprise Content Delivery Network (ECDN) platform for the efficient distribution of live and on-demand rich media content over a wide array of enterprise networks. The DME has been integrated with LifeSize’s HD video recording and streaming solution, LifeSize® Video Center, to enable VBrick and LifeSize customers to maximize the collaborative benefits of IP video communications.
