EYE and Melbourne Airport to develop world-class media offering

Leading Out-of-Home media company, EYE, has today announced their success in retaining the advertising rights at Melbourne Airport. The new contract, which commences January 1, 2011, was secured by EYE following a competitive tender process and will for the first time include the external advertising signage at the airport.

Eye Fly’s partnership with Melbourne Airport will see all the advertising sites consolidated and offered to market as a single media offering. Previously external and internal media has been handled by different suppliers. This appointment reinforces Eye Fly’s position as the dominant media company for airport advertising across Australia and New Zealand, now offering media agencies and clients greater efficiency, with one point of contact and a more seamless, integrated approach to planning and buying.

Eye Fly’s vision for Melbourne Airport will include a dynamic new asset plan, which will introduce a range of innovative advertising formats including a significant suite of landmark digital media opportunities and Australia’s first high definition external airport digital sites, to provide advertisers with the highest quality platform to communicate their brand’s message.

With 100% coverage of Australian domestic airport media in the 5 capital cities, Eye Fly is the only media specialist with the breadth and depth of offering to reach the highly valuable airport audience. Eye Fly delivers advertisers a unique opportunity to engage with travellers throughout their journey and capitalise on their positive mood and mindset during high dwell times in a clutter free environment.
