British Gas turns Sky News upside down on digital screens

Sky News story JCDecaux digital screenIn a media first, British Gas will literally turn Sky News’ Showbiz news upside down, as part of an innovative campaign on JCDecaux’s digital screens in rail stations nationwide. The campaign was planned and booked through Carat and Posterscope.

From 15 November commuters at railway stations checking Sky News updates on JCDecaux’s digital screens will see Sky’s showbusiness news screened upside down, followed by an upside-down British Gas creative, that rights itself with the strapline, ”Being without heating or hot water can turn your world upside down. With HomeCare, we’ll get you out of the cold fast.”

British Gas has booked a two-week national rail campaign with JCDecaux in 17 rail stations nationwide, with a footfall of 34 million people, in a unique link-up with Sky News, the content news provider on JCDecaux’s screens.

Spencer Berwin, Managing Director Sales at JCDecaux said, “This campaign demonstrates digital outdoor’s flexibility, with the ability to show content that creates real ‘watercooler’ moments, engaging the public with entertaining and eye-catching creative.”
